Coming off their latest shellacking, the Cougs will no doubt have no problem sucking it up and setting their sights on the hated Huskies. Yup, its' all about Friday's Apple Cup in the Palouse. Talk about a couple of teams living drastically different pigskin lives this fall. WSU, winless in the Pac 12, losers of eight in a row.....playing through all sorts of ridiculous issues. Jeff Tuel will start at quarterback in what may be his last game. The NCAA hasn't decided whether it will grant Jeff an extra year of eligibility....and, Tuel may not even want to come back anyway. Been an emotional year for the senior, a tossed ball in Leach's unsuccessful quarterback juggling act.
While the Huskies are rolling. On a winning streak.....big favorites to beat up their cross state rivals. So, in true, boring clich? form.....none of that stuff matters.....it's apple cup week.

I've checked the Friday forecast for Pullman, no snow in sight....so far.
