it's the journey...: Book Chat: Inspirational books

Ok, I'll be real honest here: I don't read a lot of self help/inspirational books. I can't say that in my adult life I've ever really tried to find ones to read but that's not to say that I haven't ever read books in this genre.?

This is going to come out really cheesy and corny but I have to say it.?

I love Chicken Soup for the Soul books.?

I love them. I really do. If you look at what these books really are, they are short ethnographies focused on a theme. It's real life stories from real life people and though they aren't always the best written or whatever, I have to say I haven't found a Chicken Soup book that didn't have at least 10 stories I found I could identify with or find inspirational.?

I started reading them when I was 11 or 12 and I can't help but page through them whenever I find them in a house or bookstore.?

I would like to read some blogging help books though. I don't know if I really need help for the kind of operation I'm running here but it's always good to seek out suggestions for improvement.?

If someone had a good suggestion in this kind of genre, I'd be happy to check it out!

Otherwise you can find me in the stacks near ?Chicken Soup for the Soul when I need an inspirational pick me up.?
